About us
barcelona-card.net is a multilingual information and purchase site for the Barcelona Card. The Barcelona Card is the official tourist card for Barcelona. It is issued by Turisme de Barcelona, the city's official tourism organisation. The card combines free entry to over 25 museums with unlimited public transport and the airport train, and is available with validities from 2 to 5 days.
Free and reduced are two different things, and in Barcelona that distinction is the whole calculation. The Museu Picasso, the MNAC and CosmoCaixa cost nothing extra. The Gaudí buildings, which sit at the top of most itineraries, come discounted only. Every attraction on this site therefore states which of the two applies, and we explain what the unlimited travel in zone 1 and the airport train add on top. We also cover where the voucher is exchanged for the card, at the airport or on Plaça de Catalunya, and when the validity starts running.

What this site is not
barcelona-card.net is an independent guide. We are not the official website of Turisme de Barcelona; the official card information is on thisisbarcelona.com. We are not a hotel or general travel portal, and we deliberately leave out hotel booking, restaurant guides and tours without a card connection. We do not sell the card ourselves: bookings are completed with our partner Tiqets, and their current prices, availability and terms apply.
